Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Kurrnt account and all associated data at any time.

We respect your right to control your data. If you'd like to permanently delete your Kurrnt account, follow the steps below and we'll take care of the rest.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to support@kurrnt.news from the email address associated with your Kurrnt account.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
  3. We'll verify your request and confirm once your account and data have been removed.

What gets deleted

When you request account deletion, we permanently remove the following data associated with your account:

Account profileName, email address
PreferencesTopics, appearance, voice, notification settings
Saved articlesAll bookmarks
Account identifiersUser ID and authentication records

Timeframe

Account deletion requests are processed and completed within 30 days of verification. In most cases, your data is removed much sooner. Anonymized, aggregate analytics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.

Browsing as a guest

If you use Kurrnt as a guest without an account, no personal account data is stored on our servers, so there's nothing to delete. You can simply uninstall the app.
